Bobby Griffin is the Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer at Rockwell Automation where he leads a team responsible for designing a holistic diversity, equity and inclusion strategy that reaches Rockwell’s 24,000 global employees, suppliers, partners, and the communities in which it conducts business. Working closely with the senior leadership team, employees, and external partners, Bobby is focused on operationalizing the strategy, and connecting it to the work the company does every day.
Prior to joining Rockwell, Bobby was the Vice President of Diversity & Inclusion for CBRE, the world’s largest commercial real estate services company with over 100,000 employees and operations in over 100 countries. In this role, Bobby worked closely with the leadership on the development and execution of CBRE’s diversity and inclusion strategy and plans. Bobby provided guidance aimed at further positioning CBRE as an employer of choice for diverse talent.
Bobby has also held roles as the Global Head of Diversity & Inclusion for Flowserve Corporation, manufacturing, and fluid motion services company with operations in 50 countries across 3 global regions and Alcon/Novartis, a global eye care and pharmaceutical manufacturing and sales company with operations in 75 countries around the world.
In these roles, Bobby was responsible for partnering with leadership on the strategy design and execution of each company’s global D&I effort.
In addition to his leadership roles in diversity equity & inclusion, Bobby has also held various regional and national level human resource leadership and business partner positions in Fortune 100 companies in the consumer products goods and health care sectors including Coca-Cola Enterprises and Merck & Co. Inc. In these roles he successfully led teams, developed strategies, and implemented initiatives that improved talent management, leadership development, and business outcomes.
Bobby holds a BBA in business management from Abilene Christian University and an MBA from the University of North Texas.
