Recruiting in the Technology-Driven Workplace

She is an instructor within the Department of Disability and Human Development teaching courses in disability policy, community integration, and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.

The Great Lakes Center is one of 10 regional federally funded technical assistance centers on the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.  The Center serves the states of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin.  The Great Lakes ADA Center is actively involved in providing training, consultation, and technical assistance on the provisions of the ADA and related laws to businesses, employers, government and educational entities, architects, social service organizations, and people with disabilities and their families.

In this session, attendees will learn about accessibility features available on various recruiting platforms.  Robin will discuss the ways in which some recruiting platforms or features may create barriers to a successful application process for job seekers.  Attendees will leave the session with greater awareness of the need for accessibility in a technology-driven recruiting environment.
