Session Overview
This interactive session will focus on establishing a basic foundational knowledge of neurologically-based diagnoses, as well as strategies to support neurodiverse talent in the workplace. Oftentimes, neurodiverse individuals benefit from workplace accommodations to maximize their abilities. Appropriate accommodations to support neurodiverse individuals will be discussed
through case studies and open dialogue among participants.
Learning Objectives
- Participants will be able to describe the basic characteristics of two neurologically-based diagnoses.
- Participants will be able to describe two easily-implemented accommodations for a neurodiverse individual working in their setting.
